All Elves wear plaid. Can't Post

I think visualweasel previously has posted Tolkien inspired comics from Sheldon by Dave Kellett. The following sums up the entire 12 volumes of The History of Middle-earth.

I look at this comic [In reply to] Can't Post

And I can only think of one character: Trotter the Wooden Shoe Wearing Hobbit.

We're lucky [In reply to] Can't Post

that he lived in the days before word processors! Nowadays many of his notes and revisions would have disappeared into the ether as he finalized his thinking about this stories. And his letters would have been e-mails, which ditto. I think students of today's authors will find themselves with a lot less material to study.

As a Scot, though, I have to ask -- what's wrong with tartan plaid?!? Can't you just see Legolas in a kilt? Billy Boyd certainly looks good in his. Whoo.... Tongue

Do we walk in legends or on the green earth in the daylight?

A man may do both. For not we but those who come after will make the legends of our time. The green earth, say you? That is a mighty matter of legend, though you tread it under the light of day!

see Vigg--er, Aragorn and the Sons of Denethor in kilts. Though I wouldn't complain if Eomer showed up in one, too. =)
*pthuhhht* on the Elves! Kilts belong on Men. *heh heh*

What makes you think Eowyn doesn't have any kneecap-length kilted skirts that would easily pass for a man's modern kilt? Ohhhh, you meant that Eowyn. My bad. =)

"All ents should be shrubs!" yes, because that would work quite well in storming Isengard,
"Quick! Grab the prunning shears!"

Lol, 70ft Hobbits. Those holes in the ground would have to be quiet big.
