and also there *points further out at sea* and they're under attack by Evil Russians in the form of enourmous crabs coming from up there *points north*. Not to mention sea urchins. Apparantly sea urchins are trying to finish of the kelp forests, and as I think humans have done their best to eat the ones eating sea urchins (hmm, fish I suppose, and seals, and various seabirds) the discussion has been whether to save the kelp forests or preserve the sea urchins. Pteppic and I had planned to have a grand discussion on this on TORN, just to give everyone else a taste of Norwegian politics, but we couldn't decide which of us should be for sea urchins as we were both for kelp forests. And now the scoundrel has disappeared totally, he's not even showed up on facebook. (unlike I think at least 50 % of the Norwegian population)

I am going to be hard pressed to take a stand for either the urchins or the kelp...

Personally, I don't like kelp when I am swimming. At all. But I don't like urchins either. Except for the one that is on Spongebob Squarepants. Or is that not an urchin?

It took me a long time to come out of lurkerdom - being a bit shy maybe... so I was a bit surprised that I came out an E in the test. Another ENFJ to be precise. I found the description a bit too flattering, but the career choice was spot on. Maybe E's in general would pass this thread by? because they - oh we - are looking for other subjects to communicate about? I don't know...I like polls like this - maybe because of the J ? I don't know if you discussed this earlier in the thread. I came in a little late, and read most, but not all posts - being an E, maybe ?

I just had my oldest kid take this quiz, and he rated INTJ, as some did here. On one of the "Famous INTJ's" lists, they included Gandalf...did any of you Masterminds see that?

I have no idea how reliable this test is, but for me it worked pretty well

It indicates I am an INFJ (strongly I, only slightly F - a couple of different answers might have shown me an INTJ). From what I know of myself, this seems pretty correct. Thanks!

You are: - moderately expressed introvert
- moderately expressed intuitive personality
- moderately expressed thinking personality
- distinctively expressed judging personality
Lots of us, it seems! Could we draw conclusions? 51% of those who have voted are included in just two types... perhaps web-suited. Who knows?

When I began my new job - our work crew, (plus the administrators etc. all the way up to the top), took the 'test'. We find it a very valuable tool to aid with understanding and appreciating our different communication styles and preferences. We all feel we can speak openly without fear. It works very well. All the folks know the 'styles' of everyone - all the way up. Adds a mutual respect I believe.

Extraverted Sensing Feeling Judging Providers take it upon themselves to insure the health and welfare of those in their care, but they are also the most sociable of all the Guardians, and thus are the great nurturers of social institutions such as schools, churches, social clubs, and civic groups. Providers are very likely more than ten percent of the population, and this is fortunate for the rest of us, because friendly social service is a key to their nature. Wherever they go, Providers happily give their time and energy to make sure that the needs of others are met, and that social functions are a success. Well, at least as a teacher apparently I choose the right career path!!!

Extraverted Intuitive Feeling Judging Strength of the preferences % 11 25 25 33 But I had to flip a mental coin on almost every question, so if I took the quiz again five minutes later I think I'd get different results. I've never had much respect for Meyer's Briggs, to tell you the truth. It strikes me as a lot of hooey. But that's only an intuitive feeling ;-)
