Actualy, I have been editing all my images...fattenign and converitng ot jpg format. While I was waiting. I ansered you over there. I jsut came bacvk her to delete this and start over.

I was in the edit mode, but after I re-read the intructions for the umpteenth time and reding your reply ot someone else, I decided to check if I was in Adanced Editor or Basic Editor. But I could not find an button or ink or menue anywhere on the editor that said such a thing. All I could figure is that It was because I was editing an already posted message. So, I decided to start over.

I think I need a break. I'll go eat and watch a movie, this is stressing me too much. written instrction are my bane. Unsure

Excellent shading [In reply to] Can't Post

Your shading is truly excellent; how dark of a pencil did you use to get that black color, or did you use a different medium?

Your attention to detail is also amazing; some parts, like the fur, don't look exactly realistic, but I like it.

Hullo Deni! [In reply to] Can't Post

Welcome Deni!

Have you scanned your fan art (if it is drawn by hand) and have it saved on your computer?

If so, when writing a post you will see a section near the bottom saying "attachment". Click on Browse. It will open up your computer files and Then all you have to do is click on the file that you wish to post. Then press upload attachment.

Then just post!

Good luck, can't wait to see your work!

Depends on if you have a PC or Mac and... [In reply to] Can't Post

what Web Browzer (the software that you use to browze the internet) you have. The advice that Ringbearer9 gave you works for PC users andworks fine if you use Internet Explorer. I use a Macintosh, so tha tdoesn't work fo rme, I had to upload my images to Photo Bucket then posted the link.

If you have trouble after following the advice that Ringbearer9... then you can try 2 or 3 other things:

1. Go to TORN 201 for written instructions:
http://newboards.theonering.net/...forum_view_expanded;
(save this link for future reference; and it can be fond in the 'Welcome' section in the Main Index)

2. Go to the feedback board:
post a question... someone, usually several people will come to help you out with almost any quesion or problem
http://newboards.theonering.net/...gforum.cgi?forum=13;

3. upload your images to a Photo Dump site like Photo Bucket then post the link using very easy Mark-Up code (found at the top of any 'post' or 'reply' page where it says: "Get Markup Help".

I will post the code in a separate post so I can make it show up by changing the Post Style (upper left).

Thank you so much for you comments on my image... Smile Cool Wink Heart

I am looking forward to seeing you art work.

Thank you for our comments [In reply to] Can't Post

I went to school and learned the skill of drawing, I had a really good teaacher. The first part is learning the basic skills of drawing... simple enough... then comes practice. Anyone can learn to draw. Contrary to poplar belief, it is a learned skill, not innate. Each artist has their own style, finding yours is the key, and that comes out naturally through practice & time put in.

There are many courses in drawing out there... if try one just for fun, you might surprise yourself. Wink

I do more landscape drawings and I can absolutely say that the is a fantastic drawing of Boramier. Your facial features are so lifelike and the clothing is truly authentic. Great job!

Eowyn: But no living man am I! You look upon a woman. Eowyn I am, Eomund's daughter. You stand between me and my lord and kin. Begone, if you be not deathless! For living or dark undead, I will smite you, if you touch him.

If you really want to draw better, all it takes is some lessons & practice. drwing is not something you are born know how to do, you have learn how to do it. Anyone can learn it. I studied art (graphic design) at a community college. My first drawing class was a prerequisite course for the program at that time. I recommend taking credit courses if available over non-credit courses, which tend to be limited.

There are some good books available as well:
