No Comic-Con experience is complete unless you walk away with a new t-shirt. The problem is choosing which one! Well, this year, TheOneRing.net and Weta Workshop are teaming up to make your choice a lot easier. With artwork hand drawn by Weta Workshop's very own Daniel Falconer, and the Weta and TORn logos on the back, this shirt is sure to be one of the hottest items at Comic-Con this year. Don't miss your opportunity to get this shirt at the Slave Boy Films Booth (#5424) for only $20. Various colors and styles will be offered. Only 300 shirts will be produced for the show, so you'll have to act fast! Click on 'read the rest of this entry' for a gallery of the styles and don't forget to visit the Slave Boy Films booth and support TORn! [Exhibitor Map at Comic-Con 2008] [Weta Workshop]

For bothering to do girl fit T Shirts and vests!! I've lost count of the amount of gigs and conventions I've been to, seen an awesome T shirt, and not been able to buy it because for some reason they only stock it in mens size XXL. Sometimes, if it's a really cool shirt, I've bought the big man size, and spent ages trying to shrink it in the wash!

Dang I would love to have one of those shirts! I love TORn and I visit pretty much everyday....I just wish I could get my hands on a TORn shirt, but alas I live far far away from San Diego and do not have the time or money for such a trip. Anyone willing to pick up a shirt for a fellow TORn fan?!

Too bad I won't be at Comic-Con. You know, I bet you could sell a bunch more T-shirts right here on TORN, if you were so inclined.

If there is a lot of interest, we can definitely print more shirts - sans the 'Comic-Con 2008' part for fans who can't make it. A lot depends on sales to fund that! :)

Awesome t-shirt but tragic panel scheduling...

The T-shirt design is excellent, I love the dragon and will definitely pick on up early since my wife and I will be there the entire con from Wednesday to Sunday. I got really excited when I saw TORN was doing a panel. But the timing is terrible for me and my wife. She has to attend the DC talent panel in order to get a chance at a portfolio review and that panel is ... wouldn't you have it... exactly the same time as TORNS. In fact, there seem to be about 5 panels all happening at the 10-11AM hour. So the one time the whole five days it had to be Friday at 10AM! :-( ARRRGGHHHH! Oh well. My wife's budding career first. :-/

as he'll be at Comic-Con and I won't. But he'll be working and we don't know if he'll have time to get over to that booth. I'm crossing my fingers though, as it looks lovely!

I've got lots of rock shirts that I can only wear as a nightgown. For daytime wear, I used to take an old belt buckle, and loop part of the bottom of the shirt through that to gather it up. It kind of worked, but the top part of the shirt still didn't fit right. In the 80's and early '90's, fashions were such, and I was young enough, that I could get away with these creative solutions, but now I try to only buy stuff that fits.

I'd be interested in a shirt as well.

Very smart on DC's part. Perhaps they've done that in the past as well. The only portfolio review sessions I've seen at Comic-Con have been ones held in the Sails Pavillion or at the smaller comic booths (ie: Not DC, Darkhorse or Marvel hehe). Is your wife going to shop her portfolio around other places during the con? I'd very much recommend that. Bring business cards (duh, I'm sure y'all already know that). I hope it goes well with her. I've had friends do it in years past with some success.

Hopefully I can grab one. This makes me wish even more that I was going to be there on preview night. This and a few other items I'm interested in may be harder to pick-up during the rest of the con. Le sigh.

Shrinking something in the wash can only work if the piece in question fits perfectly *before* the shrinking and is too small afterwards

Germany isn't exactly the next street corner from San Diego, so there's no way I'd make it to the ComicCon. That is if you can ship to Europe, of course.

You have one of the coolest jobs on Earth. :) Calisuri, you really need to make TORn shirts available online :P I have a whole bunch of them that I got from conventions and such, and they should be more readily available ^^ I hope they'll still be there when I get there on Friday :P
