Well, I've found a replacement for the Weekly Caption Contest. This will be my very last one, due to scheduling constraints, and I'm really quite sad. I'm going to miss it like crazy, but I'm sure it will be in good hands with ringhead91.
As you all know, I like to give credit where credit is due (that is, of course, when I can remember who the credit is due to). This time, I'm afraid, I can't give the blame to anyone else - I went and got this picture on purpose. I decided I should probably go out with a bang. Or with a rotten tomato to the forehead, whichever. And now, for your heckling pleasure, I give you . . . EZPELETA!
She calls this the "Vial of Galadriel" but I think it looks more like Rapunzel hatching Dobermans out of walnuts. Whatever.

Who is that with his foot in the Lorien chamber pot? Don't answer that. I don't want to know. Although it is a pretty (although not very private) chamber pot. Oh! That's a pitcher? Poor Galadriel, dealing with "Athlete's foot". Maybe the technicolor snails on his/her sword are an antidote for said affliction.

I actually don't hate this picture. The Elves do look rather alien, which I sympathize with.
No wonder all writers want to direct: one still has to put up with a load of nonsense, but even if wearing two hats (writer and director), there is one under which one is not called a thief and then raped.
