Hi all! I saw this post from the main page of TORn and I know this sounds naive, but I'm a little confused by it. Is this just a name change and that's all or is it opening the door for more rights and merchandise for LOTR, ROP, The Hobbit, books etc? https://www.theonering.net/torwp/2025/06/09/120500-embracer-group-renames-itself-fellowship-entertainment/

The Lord of the Rings, the Graphic Novel?

I'm still wondering whether we could see Dark Horse Comics produce a multi-volume graphic novel adaptation of The Lord of the Rings? I could see each of the six books becoming their own volume, though they might more likely be collected under the three, traditional titles (The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King).

A graphic novel adaptation could be broken down thusly: - The Fellowship of the Ring, Parts 1 & 2 - The Two Towers, Parts 1 & 2 - The Return of the King, Parts 1 & 2 Each volume might be originally serialized as four issues (much as Eclipse Comics did with The Hobbit). maybe more for the final one if it includes material from the appendices!
