Evangeline Lilly taking a break

While I'm sad to know I won't see her in any movies anytime soon (she did say she may come back one day), I'm very happy for her. I love Evangeline not only as Tauriel, Kate Austen and the Wasp, I love her as a person. I've been following her on Instagram for a few years now, and I think she is super real and down to earth, so I'm happy for her to be choosing a more quiet life with her family. Here is one of the articles I've found on it, but I found out via her Instagram that she was retiring from acting. https://people.com/evangeline-lilly-stepping-away-from-acting-hollywood-8658242
"Keen, heart-piercing was her song as the song of the lark that rises from the gates of night and pours its voice among the dying stars, seeing the sun behind the walls of the world; and the song of Lúthien released the bonds of winter, and the frozen waters spoke, and flowers sprang from the cold earth where her feet had passed."

I think that Evangeline Lilly was born to play Tauriel and was excellent, an asset to the Hobbit films. I haven't seen the last Antman movie but she was fine in the others, ok in Lost too. I too can understand if she's prioritizing her private life. Despite recent successes, she's also getting to the age when ageist Hollywood will be less interested in casting her. That being said, as a fellow-Canadian, I dislike Evangeline Lilly as a person for her stances on certain real world issues. She is entitled to her opinions, as am I.
