Have you ever heard of the TV show "Icons Unearthed"?

It's an annual special documentary series of 6-8 episodes that spotlight the creation, production, and history of some very popular films/shows... and they do a GREAT job with them! Five of the previous shows pictured above are: The Marvel films; The Simpsons; Fast & Furious; Star Wars; and James Bond. The Marvel series is the only one (SO FAR) that has 8 episodes while the rest have 6 episodes. They had a LOT of stuff to cover ;)
I just saw an advertisement that announced their latest project:
  
Icons Unearthed: The Lord of the Rings *spasm!* The weekly episodes start on March 20 on VICE (channel) at 10 pm et. A short description of what you'll see: "Cast, crew, and experts will reveal never-before-heard stories about the most iconic film and television series."
  
Here are some screencaps of the advertisement. They show several people involved with the production. The narrator of this series is Dwalin / Graham McTavish.

I still think of them as they look on the DVDs! I'm not sure I'm ready for this...
(I'll have to see if this show is streaming anywhere.)

But I like how they pretty-much timed this release at the end of the trilogy's 20 year Anniversary. :)
My daughter found the Star Wars series on the Paramount channel; but none of the other titles were there.
We have been there and back again.
