i first read the Hobbit when i was 8 years old, but diddn't really understand it! however, i went back to it just before the Fellowship of the Ring film came out, and loved it! i then read the trilogy shortly afterwards and became addicted. :)
Favorite Tolkien character:
i love the character of Aragorn, because he's just the ultimate ranger - outdoorsy guy! i just think he's cool, especially in the beginning as 'Strider'.
