First Lord of the Rings reading experience:

15 years old when I first read LotR; absolutely loved it . Would pick it up and read it every year when the snow first appeared on the mountains because I would always think of Caradhras; for about 5 years. Then the books were lovingly placed on my bookshelves and gained the company of 2 collectors editions over the years. Still have them all and will not part with any of them.

When I was 15...Legolas; what 15 year old girl wouldn't be totally in love with an elf prince!
Now it's Aragorn...the many archetypes that the character embodies that relate directly to our own growth as humans. Very very rich.
