"This is from 2001!" Can't Post

I wanted to share this from a reaction video I blundered across on Youtube. Start at 30:00 and watch until 31:10. Yes, astute readers will note that it will take a little more than a minute to get to the point, but that minute builds up the context of newbie watchers who are astonished at how good FOTR is 25 years later. (The Ford of Bruinen scene.)

I had this video on in the background, and honestly, these guys are not brilliant cinema gurus, though they have a ton of videos on YT, and they're basically "bros being bros," but that helped underscore the authentic enthusiasm of the guy on the right, who was amazed how well the movie has held up.

They do nitpick here and there, and either don't know the story (and books) or pretend not to. I don't remember any criticism other than "The Witcher has way better fight scenes, dude."

Still, I thought it worth sharing as a tribute to FOTR and how well it holds up.

Rings of Power? [In reply to] Can't Post

Great, but why did you post this in the Rings of Power forum?
