Despite their iffy approach, it's obvious they DO recognize what you're up against and appreciate your work. That's a very good thing :D It gives you some time to look around before the next eruption ;) Have fun storming the Castle! :D

I haven't told hobbity though. She's sensitive and I still believe in her... my beloved. My Toyota Corolla is more than 20 years old, has done well over 200,000km and still runs sweetly - however, the exterior is as rough as guts (what we call sunburnt, with the shiny layer peeling off), and even Corollas have a limit on their use. I know I have to replace it but I really don't want to - it's been such a good car, worthy of praise on long journeys. (And, cars are so flipping expensive to buy around here.)
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. Fantasy novel - The Arcanist's Tattoo My LOTR fan-fiction

...and are having fun this week at the games. Nice, too, that the weather is cooperating. Can't ask for much more than that. Well, except maybe a pay raise, but it sounds like you have that covered. Congrats!

How fun for her to have a brand new car (to her). Sounds like she went from one end of the safe spectrum clear to the other. Good for her! Hope you get a little moisture and things cool off soon. Enjoy the week!!

a lot of smoke in your area! Next year I'll plant them again, and clip the vines and prevent them from zooming out, maybe that will tell the plant to concentrate on producing pumpkins... It's a busy week, with meetings and appointments, but I have managed to get in a couple walks on our Boardwalk! Are your trees starting to get colorful?

Still waiting to hear what the offer is. Haha, aw! What a funny imagine. We had a great time - I hit around 26,000 steps and relaxed all the following day!

It was a really nice day - I even got a non-dairy sundae at the Ghiradelli shop in California Adventure. Phew, lots of sugar and very pricey, but it was good!

The cost for even a newer model used car is ridiculous and will only get worse, it seems. Twenty years is amazing! And easy to find in the parking lot since it doesn't look like everything else. Get a bumper sticker that says, "I have no car payments. Do you?" I'm going to drive mine until I walk out to the driveway and she's flipped onto her back with 4 wheels in the air. Till then, I'm prepping financially and watching for what I'd like to get. So far it's the Subaru Outback. Any mechanics I talk to say it's a good choice. Solid and easy to work on/get parts for. There's no value for a trade-in on hobbity now, so I don't have to rush. When/If I find the right deal, I'll jump on it like it's a triple scoop ice cream on a waffle cone! *makes Cookie Monster feeding frenzy noise... followed by reverberating belch*
