Is anyone else seeing thousands of 'new' posts listed on boards they haven't visited in a while?

Just me? e.g. I'm seeing the Pollantir as having more than 1,500 'new' threads and 35,000 new posts.
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. I think I've experienced this for sometime but didn't think to mention it. My assumption is there's maybe some kind of time reset that kicks in and shows the total posts in a forum as New if one hasn't clicked into a said forum in awhile? I have multiple where this is the case, where every Post on, say, The Arena is New and that's the same number of total posts over there.

I don't know what the "reset" time is, though. But if you click into a Board showing that, and click out again, the "unread" highlight will go away.
