Tolkien (obviously); I've written something over 300K words of Tolkien fanfic over the years and have a published academic essay on The Hobbit. I also cook, sew (minor cosplay), intermittently practice yoga, and read widely and voraciously.
First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
1982, near as I remember. We were doing our usual summer cross-country drive and I convinced my parents to buy me The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Silmarillion, in the Ballantine paperbacks. The first of three (or maybe four) sets I've bought over the years.
Favorite Tolkien character:
From LotR, either Sam or Faramir, who both have good common sense in their own ways.
In TRoP, so far I am enjoying Nori the most.
