First Lord of the Rings reading experience:
first found an old copy in my mums cabinet when i was about 12! it was an old 60's version. the cover and the trippy drawings, the maps and funny writing...and those first lines..one ring to.... they all pulled me in to middle earthfinally read it a few years later, running home from school to finish it, greatest time of my life reading that for the first time, before the films!!!!
Favorite Tolkien character:
i really like the incidental characters, bombadil, quickbeam, shagrat, tatty bolger etc but gandalf does kick ass!
