LOTR in Concert!

Ok, couple of simple questions here for the members.
Have you ever been to a "LOTR in Concert"?
My own answer -- I have. TTT played here in Brazil only in the city of São Paulo back in July 2022.
And second: do you think that LOTR in Concert works better with the theatrical editions, or there's no reason it should NOT be the extended ones?

We experienced the LOTR-concert in the Denmarks Radio Concerthouse last yeat. Presented by Paul Kirchner (Bifur) and illustrated with a show from the movies. Great!
I have no idea if there was anything from the ext. ed.

And believe me, I kept my eyes open for anything LOTR-related back in the day. I recently went to an event that I thought would be something like this but it turned out to be not as advertised.

They showed scenes, mostly landscapes and effects from the movies on a big screen.
It happened to be on my wifes birthday last year so it was her present
