Interesting...thought he does conclude with "Nothing significant though, so I assume it’s been moved to the second film". Seems like he might get a tiny hint at AUJ, then the full back story (perhaps as narrated by Bard ALA Balin and the Azog scene in AUJ) in the second film?

Nice to now that Narsil does show up as well.

The thing that I'm left wondering about is Drogo and Primula...were they originally going to play into the Hobbiton sequence and were removed, or were they always just intended to appear in the "back again" sequence at story's end.

1. Not only keep the claim that Thorin & Co. ran amok in Mirkwood "molesting people", but depict said incident in vivid detail!!!!!
