Which, trust me, is a big nod to you for explaining all of this so well. On the one hand, I completely understand them trying to maintain the integrity of Professor Tolkien's work. The film rights are separate from theme parks, slot machines, etc. I'm just amazed with the battle, though. Most authors (Rowling, Grisham, King) embrace their work being consumed by the system and audiences/fans. I have so much respect for the Family and Estate for protecting their legacy. However, as a fan, GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMME MORE!
