That men, like Sam ;), would come on their gardens and fields and be completely captivated. Those are the ones who could hear the Entwives' voices. I've often wondered it Sam's Cousin Hal saw an Entwife walking through the Shire.

Knowing Aragorn... he'd go find the Entwives and give them the Brown Lands.
