I guess that I am mercilessly critical of myself when it comes to avoiding certain literary pitfalls - and maybe I could have used some softening / more considerate language in my criticisms recently. Perhaps the precise and critical vocabulary I am fully comfortable using on myself and receiving from others isn't so gladly accepted from me to any other random person - especially considering my rather inconsequential position. I guess that I find an uncompromising and unadulterated honesty helps me to make things better. I wasn't meaning to come out as "name calling" or mean. I thought of it as a technical thing and a brutally honest criticism thing. I am generally positive and ready to defend a lot of things in these movies, but I guess that I'm not blandly favorable in every way - but those rare times when I have a criticism, I can see how I could think more about how I say things and how it might come off to other people. It is a thing I am always seeming to need to work on - and I forgot to remember for one brief evening there when I probably ought to have been sleeping instead.

On the other hand, I feel, in all honesty, that a slight or a criticism or a snub is hurtful in its content and smoothing it over with gentle niceties only removes my right to respond to the content that they mask. I do realize that I am possibly unique in my attitude there, so ... sorry ... will try to work on it ... honestly.
