to the end of the last thread a couple of days ago..
'from a viewing on a recent plane journey, of all things!
First - the teapot and cups set that Bilbo is using in his and Gandalf's 'Bullroarer Took' conversation is the same set that he uses during his 'butter scraped over too much bread' conversation with Gandalf 60 years later in Fellowship. It's light green with dark green ivy/leaf patterns. [This would be around observation 242 on the list]
Second, when the Dwarves are crossing the bridge into Rivendell and the camera moves to show the courtyard where they all gather, you can see Kili with his hand on one of the statues of the Elves at the end of the bridge. I think he's looking up at the statue too. Another nice addition to show his blooming interest in the Elves [this is around the 475 mark!]
I scanned through the replies and couldn't see that either of these had been mentioned before - sorry if I missed them somewhere. '
