He's a fine actor.

I'm not sure why a comparison has been drawn with Sean Bean, who is not a particularly good actor. Various spiv roles are what I saw him in in the UK before LOTR, and he always acts the same.

Richard Armitage is in another league altogether – he is capable of living the part he plays.
