You've just reminded me of what there is to still look forward to (though I'm not sure what my reaction will be to the no doubt brilliantly acted final scene with Thorin and Bilbo).

Apart from Benedict Cumberbatch as Smaug (and the Necromancer), we've also got Beorn coming up, a character I'm so much looking forward to.

I'm sure BC will give Smaug a brilliant voice – he is such a terrific actor.

It's wonderful that such fantastic actors have been cast in the Hobbit films.
