This could be interesting to see. After all, Thorin does not ever get to confront the actual dragon...
Do you think the dwarves will have any machinery? I'm thinking about Dain and his army who come to aid. Will the Iron Hills be represented by more than just heavily armored dwarves?
I'm not too sure about the goblins/orcs riding the bats... this could be a little too far out there, but I guess I wouldn't be surprised if PJ did this.
Will Beorn be the only skin-changer present at Bot5A? In a way I am hoping so. I am especially looking forward to the scene from the book where he carries Thorin off of the battlefield and then returns in an anger-induced hulk-like frenzy. In the book, it actually says that he increases in size and fierceness. Awesome.
