The Karen Wyn Fonstad's book that had a chronological breakdown of Bilbo's Quest has Smaug's death on November 1, 2941 (S.R. 1341). I use the dates from the online site she collaborated with called the Eowyn Challenge that has a breakdown of LotR's & Hobbit's Quest Charts and Mileage (when there's nothing in RotK's Appendix B) for my Today in Middle-earth (TIME) posts, but I use our everyday (Gregorian) calendar. There's a difference between the Shire and Gregorian calendar because the Shire Calendar has 30 days each month.
