But Boromir's disappearing hand is sure hard to miss! I'm not a fan of the idea of Jackson going back and fixing things, even the "hand" incident. I would put it in the same category of the idea of "colorizing" old black and white films. For me, the original look and feel of something are part of it, and changing those things means the new product is well, new and not the same thing. It's like a copy, rather than the original, I guess.
