they stop making humorous birthday cards about your age. When my husband turned 60, I went looking for a 60th birthday card, and they were all sweet and sentimental, not silly "you're getting old" cards like the ones for people turning 40 and 50 :-/

And when I went shopping for a 90th birthday card for my father in law, they were positively sappy. Unlike him :-D
