The (not so) unique dwarven weaponry and Azanulbizar, and some weaponry observations in general. Can't Post

As we all know, each of the 13 dwarves have a weaponry unique to him. But what most might not have noticed is, that some of these weapons aren't really that unique or personal. By that I mean, personal as in: I designed this myself and it has my personal touch.

When viewing that screen copy, which can be found online, (yes I know, I'm a terrible person) I noticed that during Azanulbizar, many of the wepons the company uses are also used by various dwarf footsoldiers during this battle.

Here's a list of my weapon observations:

Dwalin's:
-Big bad mace, seems quite common and is used by many
-His axe's 'Grasper and Keeper' are also seen in the hands of regular grunts, though only he dual-wields them.

Fili's
-Swords are also seen alot in the hands of the regular soldier

Kili's
-sword, aswell. (and I am not sure if this is also the case for Thorin's as they look quite similiar, though Thorin's look a bit more elaborate)

Gloin's
-Axe. Yes the one he passes on to Gimli is seen in the hands of a dwarf during the last charge. This could ofcourse be proof that Gloin is part of Azanulbizar, because I only spotted that axe once. But the warrior was wearing that regular dwarven battle armor and he seemed like just another soldier.

Other geeky Azanulbizar observations:

-Thrain is seen messing up some orcs, side by side with his father and his son, for a couple of seconds during the beginning. Really nice touch to see the royal family back to back fighting for their ancient kingdom.

-Dwalin likes headbutting Laugh

-Some of the dwarf swords and sabres are also seen in the hands of orcs during the fight. Those damn orcs know that dwarven steel is way better than their own rusty weapons. Wink

-An orc is comming to the help of Azog right after his hand is cut of.

-A dying dwarf pierced with arrows os seen being tended to/comforted by another dwarf in the aftermaths of the battle.

Lastly some general observations:
-Some of the dwarves lose their weapons in goblin town. Bofur loses his mattock and obtains an orc axe. Nori loses his staff/mace and seems to be carrting an orc sword from that point on. Ori still has his slingshot, but he is carrying Dwalin's warhammer all the way through goblin town and untill they climb the trees.

-The only mistake I've seen so far is Bofur changing weapon between the mattock and the orc axe a couple of times during goblin town, but that is such a minor inconsistency that it really doesnt' matter.

Well that's it for now.
