5 films was basically leading up to it, and was hyped for around 4 years. It's also the first time film superheroes shared the same big screen. Not only that the same actors who played them before played them in this film (For the most part) and it ended up being a fun film. Everybody kept going on about how good a film it was. Thus more went to see it.
