We saw Les Miserables and it was a very fine film

Kudos to Hugh Jackman and Ann Hathaway plus many other fine performances including Russell Crowe, Sascha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter (doing her often seen character), Isabelle Allen as the young Cosette, Eddie Redmayne (who I have seen before but can never recall his films) and many others. Film cinematography and the music people are familiar with made for a long Christmas day film.
