What about Lindir/Figwit? I'm kidding. I know that's just a glorified cameo, not a true supporting role. But I do love that Elf.

I have to go with Gandalf. As others stated, the deck is unfairly stacked to his advantage since he has a starring role. Ian McKellen just embodies that character so well. Galadriel's more playful side was a lot of fun to see also. And Andy Serkis as Gollum was masterful as always.
