Introduced to Tolkien via PJ, now a die hard Silmarillion fan. Still loving the movies for the impact they had in my teenage.
Every now and then some Tolkien fans act all high and mighty and look down at the new people reading TH because of the movies. Uhm, what? But I guess we all want to get to be arrogant about something, and what's a better way than to build your ego on books you didn't even write yourself, just read and now claim to have greater insight into them than the others!
