What if.... [In reply to] Can't Post

This scene definitely takes place between Beorns house and mirkwood.

We all expect the eagle-rescue to be the final scene of AUJ. But what if the final scene is gonna be the entering of mirkwood and the departure of Gandalf?

I just watched TTT yesterday and when I saw the last scene of the movie:

***Frodo, Sam and Gollum enter this forrest near Minas Morgul and the camera pans up through the trees, over the peaks of the dark mountains. Leaving Mount Doom and Barad-Dûr as the last shot of the movie. The goal of their journey in the distance.***

Wasn't it also the same in FOTR? Frodo and Sam are entering Emyn Muil with a last look at Mordor in the distance.

When I saw this scene and remembering the one of FOTR I thought: Wow... wouldn't it be great to see something like that in AUJ? Maybe Lonely Mountain as the last shot of AUJ? The goal of their journey. Perhaps letting the dwarves and Bilbo entering mirkwood. Gandalfs says farewell and rides south. Panning shot through the trees of mirkwood with Lonely Mountain in the distance.

It sounds funny but this stamp gives me hope to see Beorn in AUJ. "Why this stamp? Perhaps because I'm still hoping... and this little thing gives me hope!" ;)

"There is only one Lord of the Ring, only one who can bend it to his will. And he does not share power."
