I like a "light touch" on magic use - and I like to see witches 'getting on with every day' life rather than having life revolve around magic. I think it is a sign of a stable, strong (and subtly clever) person if they can stay mostly 'under the radar' and fit into life well in spite of some kind of magical association they might have. http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0046058/
