What has the director's color choice to do with the topic at hand? It's about the picture being brighter, having more contrast, due to the projector throwing more light at the screen. To be honest, i dunno exactly how higher framerates achieve that, what's going on in a projector. It's what i'm reading from people in the know so i suppose there's some truth to it.
