Saw it when i went to see TDKR. I obviously knew what the music was because of this thread. For me although i really like the music itself, i think its too sombre for the scenes being played in the trailer.
I am not a massive 300 or sucker punch, thought watchmen was okish (i liked Dr Manhattan), though i did like legend of the guardians, even if using too much CGI (which is a feature of all Snyder's movies) - apart from the scenes in Mars from Watchmen which looked terrible - like a computer game.
Though i am a big fan of Christopher Nolans. I would have preferred him to direct this but i guess it would be a bit much for him to do both Batman and Superman!
Hopefully Nolan will help Synder out with the writing or just getting a decent plot going which isnt too formulaic.
I have always had a soft spot for Superman even though he is one of the least interesting of all superheroes - in my opinion. As he can pretty much do anything he wants, whenever and he was just born with it, not much training or anything it seems. Where is the interest in that. But for some reason i like him - think its because he is the ultimate good guy.
Anyway i will be going to the cinema to watch this - i am hoping for a batman begins type of reboot to superman - as in a slightly more darker/realistic/grown up version, though maybe not to the extent of batman as i dont think superman needs to be that dark.
