I used to be when i was a kid, i had pretty much them all at some point up until the ps2 came out then i felt like i grew out of it (though i know loads and loads of people keep playing, with more adults playing games now than kids) but for me i got out of it - infact it was a similar time i got into Tolkien and hiking and biking.
I think i would like to get a ps3 though or ps4 whenever that comes out as my old housemates all had a ps3 and/or xbox360 and i did enjoy some of the games.
