I don't see that it's browser contingent but perhaps I'm just missing it.
I do a lot with images and sometimes I grab an image and immediately manipulate it. Then, when I want to do something else with it, I don't have the original image. So being able to find that same image again or to find information about it has been useful.
I also wondered how well it would work to take a good photo of a bug I found and do an image search for that photo. Would it return other bugs that looked similar?
