Anyone else noticed all the links between the different cast members? Can't Post

I was bored the other day and I took a closer look at the cast lists for LOTR and the Hobbit and found a surprisingly large amount of links between the different cast members there previous work and Jackson. Can you think of anymore?

Think of this as a very strange version of six degrees of separation.

Martin Freeman, Cate Blanchett and Peter Jackson had cameos in the 2007 film Hot Fuzz directed by Edgar Wright who co-wrote Tintin which Jackson produced, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost starred in both, and are rumoured to be having cameo roles in the hobbit.

Ian Holm had previously voiced Frodo in a BBC radio adaptation of LOTR.

Mark Hadlow and Jed Brophy have both previously worked with Jackson appearing in King Kong and LOTR (canít remember which)

Benedict Cumberdatch and Martin Freeman co-star in Sherlock, whilst Christopher Lee had previously played Sherlock Holmes in several films. Stephen Fry appeared in Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows and is writing Jacksonís Dambusters remake, which is arguably in a similar vein to Red Tails in which Robert Kazinsky (the original actor to play Fili) had a small role. Geoge Lucas produced Red Tails and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the cyrsatl skull, and directed Christopher Lee in the Star Wars prequels.

Stephen Fry and Christopher Lee both voiced characters in the 2010 Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland.

Orlando Bloom and Luke Evans appeared in 2011ís Three Musketeers film, Christopher Lee appeared in the 1974 film and the sequel.

Sylvester Mcoy had auditioned for Bilbo in LOTR as well as a role in King Kong, and had previously acted on stage with Ian McKellen. He was the 7th Doctor Who, whose current head writer is Stephen Moffat-who co-wrote the Tintin film.

Graham Mctavish and Christopher Lee were in The Wicker Tree. Christopher Lee was in The 1973 Wicker Man

Graham Mctavish was in the sequel to Green Street, Elijah Wood had the starring role in the first one.

Andy Serkis, Evangeline Lilly and Dominic Monaghan have all appeared alongside Hugh Jackman- in The Pretige, Real Steel and X-Men Origins Wolverine. Ian McKellen portrayed Magneto is the first 3 X Men films.

Bendict Cumberdatch, and Saorise Ronan, who was attached to the role of Itaril in the Hobbit appeared in Atonement

John Rhys Davies appeared in Raiders of The Lost Ark and Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade, whilst Cate Blanchett appeared in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Karl Urban (Eomer) will be co-starring in the untitled Star Trek sequel in which Benedict Cumberdatch is playing the villain.

Ian Holm and John Hurt appeared in Alien, Hurt Voiced Aragorn in the 1978 Ralph Bakshi Version.

Dominic Monaghan (Merry) used to date Evangeline Lilly who will play Tauriel in the Hobbit.

Sean Astin appeared in a TV film based on one of Terry Pratchetts Discworld novels, Christopher Lee voiced a character in another.

Sean Bean again co-starred with Orlando Bloom in Troy.

Billy Connolly who will be portraying Dain in the Hobbit, previously appeared in the film Timeline with Marton Csokas who portrayed Celeborn in LOTR ( I canít remember whether they shared any scenes, but the film was so bad Iím trying to forget to be honest). Csokas appeared in Kingdom of Heaven with Orlando Bloom.

Csokas appeared in Dream House with Daniel Craig who was in Tintin, Sean Bean-Boromir in LOTR was the bad guy in Goldeneye, John Rhys Davies appeared in another Bond film The Living Daylights, One of his co-stars Art Malik who was in the 2010 Wolfman alongside Hugo Weaving who plays Elrond.

Hugo Weaving previously appared in V for Vendetta which featured Stephen Fry, and Captain America which featured Richard Armitage.

Lee Pace, Andy Serkis and Mirando Otto all appeared in Separate films directed by Stephen Spielberg- Lincoln, Tintin, War of the Worlds. Tintin was co-produced by Jackson, and Spielberg is rumoured to be taking the reins of the Halo project which was at one point attached to Jackson.

Cate Blanchett, Ian Holm and Orlando Bloom all have previously worked with Director Ridley Scott- On Robin Hood, Alien and Kingdomn of heaven and Blackhawk down.

Can you think of anymore?
