Well... [In reply to] Can't Post
...that's how adaptations of novels work. The Hobbit on it's own does not have nearly the right amount of dialogue, characterization, or description of places and events for them to follow it 100% on film. Things have to be made up along the way, changed, moved around, it's all a process. It's just how it works. You don't have to like it, it just is what it is. Even Game of Thrones, which was 10 hours for one book, had it's fair share of some fan-fiction adaptation, changing, adding, deleting, etc.
