...that's well outside New Line's 'rights' window, isn't it? I though that was expiring in 2007 or 2008, meaning either they've gotten an extension from Zaentz or they need to get into high gear.

For that matter, Jackson's pretty tied up, too, isn't he? The real window was right after the success of RotK, when it would have been possible to schedule in something after Kong. But I get the impression that Jackson's up to his eyeballs in projects now.

Regarding the Star Wars stuff, Lucas has proven to be a terrible director. The episodes he's done are the worst. All he seems to give his actors is, "hit your mark and say your line." That is so not the case with Jackson.
