Why oh why did I take this week for SCOD? There are just too many good shots to pick just one for each day!
But, since the biggest thing that happens next is the introduction of a new character, I guess he deserves to win. (I bet he was the winner the last time we did FOTR SCOD, too...)

1. First reactions?
2. I know it's straight out of the book, but has the "dark mysterious stranger" become an overdone movie/book image? Should Jackson have changed it? Was he right to play Strider's introduction by the book, even if non-book readers might have thought it cliche?
3. Comments on the way this shot is composed -- the window, the items on the table, position of the character, etc.?
4. What would you have thought of this guy if you were Frodo and Sam?
