every one [In reply to] Can't Post

knows of some one who is mean, greedy and selfish - every one knows some one who is kind, thoughful and considerate, we all have these things in us, it's just whether we allow some things to control us over others. We are all to a point avaricious (?) but not all of us are specifically greedy enough for it to be all we are.
Perhaps this is what Tolkein is alluding to in his stories, we all have the same basic thoughts, drives and desires and none of us are exempt from the possiblity that they might twist us and pull us in a more sinister direction.

For the sake of this argument I hadn't thought of the Dwarves as Jewish at all, and don't 'get' it.
