Now taking reservations! The pun lines are open!

Get ready to enjoy some tasty threads on the Main Board next weekend when we celebrate Founders Day here on TORn. This year's event marks the 15th Anniversary of the founding of theonering.net!

Whatever your pleasure, you'll find some great fare on the Main Board. We'll also be hosting a whole array of party threads, games, special stories and surprises here, and at other TORn locales. So make your plans now to stop by and enjoy a bountiful buffet guaranteed to fill up your computer screen.

That's right, the place will be cram-filled with wargermelons, oliphaunt-parmesan and more!

Let us know what Middle Earth delicacy you would like the Elves to make for you -- and mark your calendars for Founders Day Weekend -- April 26!

WaterMelian chunks, homemade Háma and cheese sandwiches, some Filidelphia cheese, and the pičce de résistance is my Fangorn Gateau with Wight Chocolate.

Now, Gimli another beer.

*Puts on a bit of Moriah Carey to begin celebrations*

I can't wait.

Hahaha! I'll send my ideas by Shadowfax. Here's some below--

For breakfast, some Ferry preserves on Butterbur toast

At lunch, I'll have a couple of Midgeburgers with Tom-atoes and Bomba-dill pickles, follwed by a Gold-berry Surprise cobbler, or a slice of Buckleberry pie.

Would either of you like some Rhadagasts with that?

I probably spelled Rhadagast wrong and that's a very bad pun on Radish in case no one gets it!

Ouch.

I just had a red hot Elwing. I think I am Luthien teeth now. I must Bree going because it has made me feel Meliancollie. Or maybe I could read "The Adventures of Huckleberry Fingolfin" to cheer me up.

Happiness: money matters, but less than we think and not in the way that we think. Family is important and so are friends, while envy is toxic -- and so is excessive thinking. Beaches are optional. Trust is not. Neither is gratitude. - The Geography of Bliss by Eric Weiner as summarized by Lily Fairbairn. And a bit of the Hobbit reading thrown in never hurts. - NottaSackville

What business does a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, a dwarf, and a hobbit have in the Rivenmark?

Can I share the Turin of salmon recipe?

Grease a loaf Tinúviel. Line with 35 mm film (perfect for a motion picture), then cover just the base with one layer of pipe-smoked salmon slices.

Whizz the cream cheese (or alternatively, orcanzola and Bree), cram, lembas zest and juice together in a food processor to combine. Scrape out and stir in the athelas and Simbelmynë with some seasoning. Spread the cream cheese mixture over as evenly as you can. Top with a layer of salmon slices. Repeat with the cream cheese and salmon - you should be able to do 9 fellowship layers of cream cheese. Cover with 35 mm film, pressing down gently, then chill (with ice from Forochel) overnight.

To serve, turn salmon Turin onto a platter and gently peel off the 35 mm film. Scatter with a few Mallorn fronds and serve with Lissuin wedges (Shocked) and Miruvor.

Sounds yummy.
