the problem was that you somehow got an extra "http://" in your URL. But your examples didn't have it, so your tutorial was correct. One other thing to be aware of: The instructions you gave are for Markup links, not HTML, so if you're using Basic Editor, you have to make sure that you select "Markup" or "Markup and HTML" for your post style or it will just show all the code and not be clickable. Since I use Advanced Editor, I use the link (chain) icon for my URLs. 1. Highlight the text you want to use for your link, i.e. "Click here" 2. Click the Link icon 3. Delete the existing "http://" in the popup box and paste in your URL 4. Click Submit And there you go.
