I really enjoy Radagast's character, even as an invention ( in a speaking/acting role, that is). He gives a different dimension to the Wizards, and although not everyone agrees with him being included in AUJ, I personally like how he introduces a whole different perspective into AUJ in the form of the backstory of the Necromancer and the White Council. And I agree, it is great to finally see the actual scene, after the tantalizing descriptions from Quickbeam! Once thing I caught, after watching that scene (I think of it as the "Fells Scene"). When Radagast is telling Gandalf in AUJ that the spiders came from Dol Guldur, Gandalf says "but the old fortress is abandoned"; Radagast replies: "No Gandalf. 'Tis not". In the "Fells Scene", Radagast tells Gandalf "this is not a nice place to meet", and Gandalf replies "No. Tis not". Just thought it was a clever touch.
'"Never laugh at live dragons, Bilbo you fool!" he said to himself, and it became a favourite saying of his later, and passed into a proverb.'
