What I get for trying to be funny

Would one of you lovely admins kindly remove the line about DS9 fans that I put in this post? My aim was to be funny, but I tried too hard and landed on "insulting," I fear. sigh. I just never should post when I'm in a hurry.

Oh, gosh, I need the same advice!

I removed your post altogether instead of just editing it, and now I can't put it back Frown. So sorry.

Here's your original post without the DS9 reference:

Trek fans don't do 'wars'. Tongue

Either you can re-post, or I can and attribute the comment to you. Oops!

Thanks! And no worries

I'll re-post it - more thoughtfully, this time!

As a Star Trek fan,

including DS9, I had taken it in the spirit you had intended. Smile and did find it funny.

There it is: dwarves are not heroes, but calculating folk with a great idea of the value of money; some are tricky and treacherous and pretty bad lots; some are not, but are decent enough people like Thorin and Company, if you don't expect too much.
