Aragorn the Elfstone Tol Eressea Jan 9 2013, 8:03am Views: 341      I had hoped for a couple more... given that these are the British awards and all, I thought they might be more generous than what we'll likely see on Thursday. I was hoping maybe for some nominations in Art Direction, Costume Design, and Original Score. Alas, the 3 it got are probably what we're looking at for the Oscars as well. Plus, Spielberg missed for Best Director?! That's just weird. On the upside, my favorite film of the year, Anna Karenina, got 6 nominations including Best British Film. So yay! Here's hoping it will, in their eyes (for me it's proven itself already - I love it).
