NO

Some people think it will be put in the EE, some others, like me, think it will be kept for DoS.

No.

There are other scenes as well. Bilbo at the market, Bilbo finding Narsil, etc

The greatest adventure is what lies ahead.

They are victims of 2 films becoming 3.

So we have to wait another year for that.

Not that much "etc" after what you listed...

Tongue

Or did I miss something ?

I am not talking about what will be put in the EE, but what as been already shown and is now missing from AUJ theatrical cut...

i am praying

we get some of that stuff in the next movie. strange that it would be highlighted in BOTH trailers but be relegated to the EEs. ultimately, i don't think that will happen...we'll see at least some of those shots in one of these theatrical cuts.

There's a couple of more things;

- Old Took's party/Gandalf meeting a very young Bilbo
- Bilbo and Elrond talking on a terrace (http://heirsofdurin.files.wordpress.com/.../06/vlog2-7-copy.jpg
- Bofur singing in Rivendell (mentioned by Nesbitt)
- Gloin checking out some elvish cups during the Rivendell dinner (can't remember seeing it in the movie)
- Bombur being kicked into some of the dwarves (upper left: http://i.imgur.com/BbgHFh.jpg)
- Crack/goblins coming toward Bilbo in cave (http://heirsofdurin.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/t173.jpg).
- Bifur being lifted up by Gloin and Oin (I can't remember seeing this in the movie at all: http://heirsofdurin.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/t169.jpg)

Thank you !

Very impressive list, we should start a tread with all the EE material we know exist. And what we think might be added...Smile

Forgot some:

A NZ paper had an article about The Hobbit a while back, and they briefly mentioned being on location with Andy Serkis and watching him film a scene with 100 dwarf extras walking down a mountain.

Only one shot remains of this in the movie (http://i.imgur.com/8Zspoh.jpg) and some more of it can be seen in the vlogs: http://heirsofdurin.files.wordpress.com/...4-part_000213000.jpg, http://heirsofdurin.files.wordpress.com/...4-part_000225291.jpg

I think we will see those dwarves

in another flashback, but in DoS or even TaBA, but not in the EE of AUJ.

I'm thinking that sequence will be adapted to open DoS

It looks pretty dramatic, and would also be a nice nod to another awesome Gandalf moment opening the 2nd movie in the trilogy (Balrog in TTT).

It would be useful if someone seeing it again could check something.

Galadriel mentions the location of the tomb. I think she says "Rhudaur" but I didn't quite catch it.

Yes. It could be really great.

But I hope they will open the movie with the fate of the dwarves of Moria, with the Balrog.
(Maybe it's part of the same scene, who knows.)

It would be nice to open the second movie of each trilogy with the Balrog.

And I want to see the great halls of Moria in its time of splendor.
(A nice contrast with the scene in FotR.)
