This is what I meant when I said "critics be damned" in another thread...

... because this is a movie for the fans! Unlike critics, many of us have waited years to see this on screen, and we aren't going to judge them based on the HFR, the 3D, or length.

We're looking at content, which is something many critics who've given this film a negative review have barely touched upon Crazy

I know I'm going to love these films Cool

This film is entirely for fans

It remains so true to the book, as well as offering something fresh, and new.

The HFR was a but naff, but the film was PERFECT. Loved it. And hope you do too, Earl. Smile

No, the purse remains hidden ;-)

They've packed so many tiny details into the film from the book. Laugh

Hmmm... I'm not sure that's a valid critiscm (spoilers inside)

Well it is, as it's the ladies own opinion. I don't think it's justifiable.

Book:
- Trolls
- Stone Giants
- Goblin-town
- Out of the Frying Pan

Film:
- Prologue
- Azanulbizar
- Trolls
- Warg chase
- Stone giants
- Goblin-town
- Out of the Frying Pan

Yes, there are *more* battles. But apart from the Warg chase to Rivendell, they are all (roughly) true to the book (and appendix).
